On Oct 2nd, Greg Burger made it 9 yards this year (37.5 miles) out of 44 starters at the Little Dog's Backyard Ultra (Bell Buckle, TN). It was very humid so lots of people dropped early. Only 17 left when Greg dropped. Winner went 37 hours in154 miles!!!

"It was my 6th time in Laz's Backyard. I have the honor of being a 5 time Big Dog Backyard Ultra DNF'er and now 1 time Little Dog DNF'er!" Greg said.

Backyard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6706 meters (4.167 miles) in less than one hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour’s race.
